Q. How does PAWS receive its funding?
A. PAWS is funded completely by individual contributions, business support and private foundation grants. Individual partnerships and gifts account for over 75% of our annual budget.

Q. What is the cost of a PAWS partnership?
A. General Annual Partnerships begin at $ 35 and Seniors and Students $ 20

Q. What do I receive with my partnership gift?
A. General PAWS partners receive:

• Periodic updates and e-alerts
• PAWS semi-annual E-newsletter
• Opportunities to take direct action to help captive wildlife
• And of course, you will know that you are a crucial partner to our sanctuary

Q. What if I want my gift to help one specific animal?
A. You can become a PAWS Foster Parent. Your annual support for an individual animal provides nutritious food and enriching habitats for your animal. See our Adoption section for more information.

Q. What do I receive as a PAWS Foster Parent?
A. Foster Parents receive:

• Biography of your animal
• Certificate with full color photo of your animal
• Guest pass to regular Open House to see your animal (either Galt or San Andreas)
• Periodic updates on your animal
• PAWS E-newsletter
• Discounts to special events
• Opportunities to take direct action to help captive wildlife
• And of course, you will know that you are a crucial partner to our sanctuary

Q. Why is my partnership important?
A. You may not be able to rescue a bear from a gas station petting zoo, but when you are a PAWS partner or bring in ONE new partner to PAWS, you are doing just that.

Q. Can I give a partnership to someone else?
A. Gift Partnerships are available for same levels and same benefits – except gift donor and gift recipient receive introductory gift card to acknowledge and announce gift partnership.

Q. Can I set-up my gift to be charged to my bank account on a regular basis?
A. Yes, you can be a Monthly Pledge Partner -- helping provide supplemental dietary needs and vet care for animals in need. Pledge $ 10 or more (in increments of $ 10) per month with your bank’s debit or credit card.

Q. My company offers matching gifts. How do I set that up?
A. Contact your human resource department. Provide them with PAWS’ contact information – PO Box 849, Galt, CA 95632 – (209) 745-2606 and our Fed Tax ID # -- 94-3005157. They will require documentation of your gift to PAWS.

Q. I’m considering naming PAWS in my Will. How do I go about that?
A. Instruct your attorney to name PAWS – spell out – Performing Animal Welfare Society – at 11435 Simmerhorn Road, Galt, CA 95632 as the recipient. Provide our Federal Tax ID # -- 94-3005157

Q. I’d like to make a gift of stock or an annuity. How do I go about that?
A. Please ask your financial consultant to contact our office at (209) 745-2606.
