PAWS Annual Partnerships

Q. How does PAWS receive its funding?

A. PAWS is funded by individual contributions, business support and private foundation grants. Individual partnerships and gifts account for more than 75% of our annual budget. PAWS does not receive any government funding, even when we assist a governmental agency with a special rescue. After the rescue, it is then PAWS' responsibility to provide habitat and lifetime care for that animal.

Q. What is the cost of a PAWS partnership?
A. Annual partnerships begin at $25 for seniors and students; general partnerships $35. Three additional partnership levels are also available.

Q. What do I receive as a PAWS Partner?
A. As an example, General, Student and Senior Partners receive: a subscription to PAWS' e-newsletter — published as news happens; invitations to special events; special mailings and hot-topic alerts; opportunities to take direct action to help captive wildlife; and, of course, you'll receive the satisfaction that comes from knowing that you are a crucial partner to our sanctuaries. Additional partnership levels receive even more benefits.

Q. What if I want to help one specific animal?
A. You can choose to adopt a PAWS animal. Your annual support for an individual animal helps provide that animal with nutritious food and an enriching habitat. For PAWS animal adoption information, click here.

Q. Why is my partnership important?
A. The money we receive from your partnership donation helps support our sanctuary operations and the day-to-day care of the animals. We cannot do it without you!

Q. Can I give a partnership to someone else?
A. Gift partnerships are available at every level and include the same benefits. Gift recipients will receive an acknowledgement of your gift.

Q. Can I set up a personal gift to PAWS to be charged to my bank account on a regular basis?
A. Yes, you can become a Monthly Pledge Partner to PAWS. Pledge $10 or more per month with your debit or credit card. For more information, click here.

Q. My company offers matching gifts. How do I set that up?
A. Contact your human resource department. Provide them with PAWS’ contact information: PAWS, P. O. Box 849, Galt, CA 95632; (209) 745-2606; PAWS Federal Tax ID# 94-3005157. Q. I’m considering naming PAWS in my Will. How do I go about that?
