PAWS sanctuaries ARE NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC but we do schedule a limited number of special events throughout the year. You'll find our event calendar below.
EVENT CANCELLATIONS DUE TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS
The health and safety of our supporters, volunteers, employees, and the animals who live at our sanctuaries, is a priority for all of us at the Performing Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). Out of an abundance of caution, we are cancelling all events at our ARK 2000 sanctuary in San Andreas until further notice.
Registration Closes on October 15!

The 2022 PAWS International Captive Wildlife Conference will take place November 11-12, 2022, in Sacramento, California, with an optional visit for conference attendees to the ARK 2000 sanctuary in nearby San Andreas on November 13. We're lining up an array of exceptional speakers that will address issues involving big cats, cetaceans, elephants, and more. This is an in-person event only and will not be live-streamed. Seating is limited. Registration will close on October 15th, or when all seats have been sold. Click on the "register here" link below for additional information and to register.
